Deaf Human Rights and Legal Access Project - The year in review
A project which aims to increase awareness of human rights among Deaf Women in Difficult Circumstances, Deaf and hearing advocates, members of the legal and judicial systems, and the public-at-large. A series of video conferences were also held in six provincial sites for training of Deaf and hearing paralegals. Cases involving Deaf parties / witnesses throughout the country are also being monitored.
